About Us

We are Francesca & Jacopo (Fran & Jac for everyone) and we run il Pakkero in Ashford, Kent. We moved from Rome to Ashford in 2009. We have always been working in the Catering & Hospitality industry and, in 2019 , we decided to make the big jump opening our own business. When it was time to open our restaurant, we wanted to offer something different and we went on a mission: let people know about the real taste of Italy, bringing in Ashford the real Pizza Romana (Thin & Crispy) cooked in a wood fired oven and a selection of Italian street food. Most of our food is homemade following the Italian tradition, every piece of our menu is an authentic grandma's recipe.
